Delete a site menu button

Learn two ways to remove deleted pages from your site navigation.

If you decide to delete a page from your Website Builder site, you'll also want to delete the site menu button which goes to the deleted page.

Delete a site menu button

  1. From your Manage Site page, click Edit site or Site Design.
    The Site Design and Edit site links.
  2. On your site menu, click the button that you wish to remove from the menu then mouse over the : icon.

  3. Click the red X next to delete the button. Note: The button will be highlighted in red when you mouse over the red X.
    Click the red X to delete the button.
  4. Publish when ready.
    The Publish button.

Note: If you accidentally delete the wrong menu button, select the Undo icon and undo Remove button. Make sure to do so before you publish. Learn more about the Undo function.

Delete a site menu button using Manage Menu

  1. From your Manage Site page, click Edit site or Site Design.
    The Site Design and Edit site links.
  2. Mouse over the Pages tab on the top left.
    The Pages tab.
  3. Towards the right, click Manage Menu. The Website Menu window will open.

  4. Select Item.
    The Item pane.
  5. Mouse over the button that you wish to delete. The button will be highlighted.

  6. Click the red X next to the button. The button will be deleted.
    Click the red X to delete the button.
  7. Publish when ready.
    The Publish button.
