Set up business email in Office 365

Learn how to set up your business email in the latest version of Outlook.

Set up business email in Office 365

  1. Open Outlook.
     
  2. Select File.
     
  3. Click Add Account.
     
  4. Enter your Business Email address.
     
  5. Select Advanced options and check the box for Let me set up my account manually.
     
  6. Click Connect.
     
  7. Select IMAP.
     
  8. On the IMAP Account Settings screen enter your IMAP and SMTP settings and click Next:
    • Incoming mail server: imap.mail.yahoo.com
    • Port: 995
    • Encryption method: SSL/TTL
    • Outgoing mail server: smtp.bizmail.yahoo.com
    • Port: 465
    • Encryption method: SSL/TTL
      Note: Outlook may pre-populate these settings with inaccurate information. If it does, replace the pre-populated settings with the ones above.
       
  9. Enter your App Password and click Connect. Learn more about app passwords.
     
  10. Your email account has been added successfully.
