Export database and tables in phpMyAdmin

Learn how to download a copy of your database or tables.

Download your database

Jump to:

 Export database tables

  1. Sign in to your My Services page.

  2. Click the Hosting link.

     

  3. Click the phpMyAdmin link in the Databases module. phpMyAdmin will open in a new browser window.

  4. On the left, select the database that contains the table that you want to export.

  5. Select the table you want to export.
    Select a database table.

  6. Click the Export link.
    The Export tab.

  7. From the Format dropdown list, select the type of formatting you want.
    The Format pull-down menu.
    Format options.

  8. Click the Go button.
    The Go button.

  9. Follow the prompts from this point to download the table.
    Download the table.

 Export an entire database

  1. Sign in to your My Services page.

  2. Click the Hosting link.

     

  3. Click the phpMyAdmin link in the Databases module. phpMyAdmin will open in a new browser tab.
