How do I generate and download reports?

Learn how to generate and download reports for your registered customer data.

Customer Manager allows you to generate and download reports for your registered customer data.

Generate a report

  1. Set the filters you wish to you use. For help with applying filters, see our filter Help Page.

  2. Click the Generate Report button.
  3. In the General Report dialog:
    • You will be asked to enter a name for your report. If you wish, you may use the default name provided.
    • You will also be asked if you wish to be notified by email when the report has finished generating. This can be especially helpful for merchants with a large number of registered customers, who tend to download reports containing a large amount of data.
    • Click the Generate Report button.

The report will begin generating, as indicated by the Generating status for the report in the Reports (Last 7 Days) section of Customer Manager, located near the bottom of the page. Once the report has finished generating, this status will change to a Download link for the report.

Note: The store owner will be notified by email of the report request, even if you are not the store owner and have opted out of receiving an email notice.

One of four report statuses will be listed for a report. These are:

  • Generating - The report is being created.
  • Download - The report has been created and is ready to be downloaded.
  • Error Generating - There was an error encountered while generating the report. Please try generating this report again.
  • Not Available - The report cannot be downloaded at this time. Please return to Customer Manager at a later time and check the status of this report again.
