Making PayPal Checkout inactive as a payment option or deleting

Learn more about temporarily or permanently removing PayPal Complete Payments as a payment method in your checkout pages.

Article ID: SLN19319

You have the choice of deactivating your PayPal Complete Payments account or deleting it from your store. Deleting the account from your store does not affect your account with PayPal; it merely erases the account from the Payment Center section of your store. However, before you make your account inactive or delete it from the Payment Center, you should complete any pending transactions as deleting your account from the Payment Center will remove your ability to process transactions through this method.
