Checkout & Registration Manager offers several default display options for the Other Billing Address section in your checkout pages. You can choose to collapse (hide) the billing address section unless a buyer manually selects Other to enter a billing address or you can choose to always display the other billing address fields.

When you choose to always display the billing address fields, you can also choose between having Same As Shipping Address selected by default, which will disable (gray out) these fields unless Other is selected buy the buyer, or having Other selected by default, which will display editable billing address fields.

By default your Billing section uses the Shipping Address information for the Billing Address. This setting works for many stores and thus hiding the fields not likely to be used helps reduce the visual complexity of your checkout pages. Stores where hiding the Other Billing section may not be recommended include gift sites, or any site where a large percentage of orders are delivered to an address other than the Shipping address.

Choose between collapsing or displaying the billing address fields

1. Sign in to your My Services page.

2. Click the Store link.

   

3. Go to Checkout & Registration Manager.
   
4. Go to Advanced Settings.
   
5. Under Special Handling, locate the Collapse 'Other' Billing Address Section options and choose either Collapse unless selected or Always show.
   
6. Click the Save button.
   
7. Return to Store Manager and publish your Order Settings.
   

Choose how to display the billing address fields

1. Sign in to your My Services page.

2. Click the Store link.

   

3. Go to Checkout & Registration Manager.
   
4. Go to Advanced Settings.
   
5. Under Special Handling, locate the Billing Address Section options and choose either 'Same As Shipping Address' selected by default, or 'Other' selected by default.
   
6. Click the Save button.
   
7. Return to Store Manager and publish your Order Settings.
