Edit link destinations in checkout pages
Learn how to set URLs in the Checkout & Registration Manager.
Article ID: SLN19052
Your custom checkout pages include several buttons/links whose destinations you can change. By default, Checkout & Registration Manager will assign default destinations so you can leave the fields blank to use the default URLs (if building in the Store Editor), or you can enter your own if you wish to customize the destination of the buttons/links.
The buttons/links with editable destinations include
Privacy Page URL: Leave blank to use the default privacy policy page (e.g. store.widgetdesigns.com/privacypolicy.html), or enter your own URL to your privacy policy page on the Web Hosting side of your account. As part of the Terms of Service, all merchants must post a privacy policy informing customers of any and all uses of the personal information collected by the merchant.
If you are building using the Store Editor, the link to the Privacy Policy page will be set up automatically. Consult the online privacy links document for more information. If you are using cPanel to publish files built in another tool, use the instructions below to edit the privacy policy link in Checkout & Registration Manager.
Info Page URL: Leave blank to use the default information page (e.g. store.widgetdesigns.com/info.html) or enter your own URL to your info page on the Web Hosting side of your account.
If you are building using Store Editor, the link to the Info page will be set up automatically. If you are using cPanel to publish files built in another tool, use the instructions below to edit the privacy policy link in Checkout & Registration Manager.
Keep Shopping Page URL: Leave blank to return shoppers who click Keep Shopping in the shopping cart to the page from which they entered the shopping cart or enter a URL to which to take users. The Keep shopping link appears by default beneath the shopping cart.
If you are building using Store Editor, the link will be set up automatically. If you are using cPanel to publish files built in another tool, you will need to add the product-url field to your items in Catalog Manager.
Final Page URL: Leave blank to take shoppers who click Keep Shopping in the Order Confirmation page to your store home page, or enter a URL to which to take users.
If you are building using Store Editor, the link will be set up automatically. If you are using cPanel to publish files built in another tool, you will need to use the instructions below to edit the final URL link in Checkout & Registration Manager.
In the Link Urls section, enter or edit the URLs to which you wish to direct shoppers from the specific buttons/links in your checkout pages. Be sure to include http:// in your URL. Note: If you have enabled secure storefront, include https:// instead.
Click Save when finished or click Save & Preview to save and view your changes.
Return to the Store Manager and publish your Order Settings when ready.
