How do I enable Saved Cards for my store?

Learn how to set up a feature which will allow your customers to keep their payment information stored.

When Saved Cards is enabled, the payment method section will appear above the billing address section in checkout. When not enabled, the billing address section appears above the payment method section. If you are using custom fields, the location of these fields may change upon enabling Saved Cards. Previewing your changes before publishing is recommended.

Before you can use the Saved Cards feature, Customer Registration must be enabled for your store. Learn how to enable Customer Registration.

Enable the Saved Cards feature

  1. Sign in to your My Services page.
  2. Click the Store link.

  3. Go to Checkout & Registration Manager.
    The Checkout & Registration Manager link is under Order Settings.
  4. Go to Global Settings.
    The Global Settings link.
  5. Click the Customer Registration tab.
    Click the Customer Registration tab.
  6. In the Customer Registration Settings area:

    • Locate the Saved Cards option, and click select the Enable radio button.
    • Using the Save Card Upon Order Confirmation setting, choose how to display information about the ability to save card information to registered customers. You may choose to show this information as a dismissible information box shown after a registered customer places an order, or you may choose to display this information inline on the order confirmation page.

    In the Customer Registration Settings area, locate the Saved Cards option, and click Enable.

  7. Click the Save button when finished.
    The Save and Save & Preview buttons.
  8. Return to Store Manager and publish your Order Settings.
    The Publish Order Settings link.

If you have never enabled Customer Registration for your store, upon enabling, Saved Cards will also be enabled by default unless you manually select Disable for the Saved Cards option.
