To make it easier for you to include and update product availability information in your store, we've added an Availability field to the Store Editor and Catalog Manager. Just use the field on the Variables page to set availability info for all your items, or override the variable on individual pages to set it per item.
Use the Availability pull-down menu to select an availability.
Click the Update button.
Publish when ready. Note: making changes in Variables will require a full publish. Learn more.
This sets the availability for all products to the value you selected. If you need to set a different availability for one or more products, override the Availability variable for each product that is different from the global availability value, and select the appropriate value.
Click the Manage table pull-down menu for the table you wish to edit, then click the [+]Add New Attributes link in the Store Attributes section.
Select the checkbox next to availability, then click the Add button.
In the Add Attribute Information dialog, click the OK button.
In the New Attributes Added dialog, click the OK button.
Make the availability field visible in the Catalog Manager
On the Manage Products page, click the Customize View button.
In the Available Attributes column, select availability then click Add.
The attribute will move to the Display These Attributes column. Click Move Up or Move Down to change the position in the list, then click Apply Changes to return to Catalog Manager.
Set the availability value for your items
Click the Edit All button.
Set an availability value for each product appropriately.
Click Save when done.
Publish your catalog when ready.
You can also upload Availability if you build your store using database uploads.
