Delete a tax rule

Learn how to remove a tax rate from your store.

At times, you may wish to delete one or more tax rules from your tax rules listings.

Delete a tax rule

  1. Sign in to your My Services page.
  2. Click the Store link.

  3. Go to Tax Rates. You should see the tax rules you have set up for your store.
    The Tax Rates link is under Order Settings.
  4. Select the check box appearing in the Delete column of your tax listings for any tax rule you wish to delete, then click the Delete Selected button.
    Select the check box and click Delete Selected.
  5. Confirm that you wish to delete the tax rule by clicking the Delete Rule button.
    Click the Delete Rule button to confirm that you wish to delete the rule.
  6. Click the Done button.
    Click the Done button.
  7. Return to Store Manager and publish your Order Settings.

Note: You can only delete tax rules appearing on the page you are currently viewing in the Manage Taxes page. For example, if you have 20 tax rules, your tax rules are displaying 10 per page, and you are currently viewing the second page of rules, you cannot select rules from the first page to delete.
