Self referral domain exclusions for Google Analytics

Get more accurate tracking from Google Analytics by excluding certain site URLs, such as own.

Article ID: SLN29037

Because your store pages and the checkout pages are on different domains, Google Analytics will track any users going from your store pages to the checkout as a referral--this is inaccurate, and will skew your analytics.

Exclude self referral domains

  1. Sign in to your Google Analytics account.
  2. Click the Admin tab at the top of the screen.
  3. In the Property section, click Tracking info, then Referral Exclusion List.
