When you create a new product in Store Editor using the Item button, there are only two properties that you need to enter data for:
The following properties are also required, but their default behavior means you may not need to make any manual changes:
- ID (will be generated based on Name)
- Code (will be generated based on Name)
- Orderable (defaults to Yes)
- Taxable (defaults to Yes)
- Condition (defaults to New)
Even though they aren't required, it's a very good idea to set the following values as well:
After all, items without pictures or descriptions may not appeal to most shoppers.
