How do I add an image gallery?

Learn how to create a photo gallery in Website Builder.

Website Builder image galleries can be created as either a section on an existing page or as a new page. Note: Images can be no larger than 5MB in size.

Add an image gallery as a section

  1. From your Manage Site page, click Edit site or Site Design.
    The Edit site and Site Design links.
  2. Click the + icon at the top or bottom of an existing section. This will depend on where you want the image gallery to be displayed - above or below the current section.

  3. On the Add a new section page, select Gallery. You will be taken to the Gallery preview.
    Click the Gallery link.
  4. On the Gallery preview screen, you can choose from different Gallery layouts by clicking the left and right arrows.

  5. Chose the desired Gallery layout by clicking the + icon.

  6. Decide if you wish to apply the original section style or your own website style. Learn more.

  7. Replace the default gallery images with your own.
  8. Publish when ready.

Add an image gallery as a new page

  1. From your Manage Site page, click Edit site or Site Design.
    The Edit site and Site Design links.
  2. Hover your mouse over the page name icon on the top left of the page.
    The Page name appears on the top-left.
  3. Click Add a New Page.

  4. On Add a new page, click the Gallery thumbnail.

    Note: The thumbnail will look different depending on the site's theme.
  5. On the Name your new page window, enter the page name in the name field and click Add page.

  6. Confirm if you wish to add the new page to your site menu.
    Choose to add the new page to your site menu.
  7. Replace the default gallery images with your own.
  8. Publish when ready.

Note: If you wish to be able to right-click and save any images, you will need to also host those images elsewhere then add links to where the images are hosted. When you click the images, they will open in a new tab or window and you'll have the option to right-click and save from there. Web Hosting customers who use Website Builder as their home page can upload these images to File Manager then add the links.
