A Website Builder image slideshow can be added as a section on one of your site pages. Note: Images can be no larger than 5MB in size.

Add a slideshow

1. From your Manage Site page, click Edit site or Site Design.
   
2. Click the + icon at the top or bottom of an existing section. This will depend on where you want the Slideshow section to be displayed - above or below the current section.
   
3. On the left side of the Add a new section page, choose Slideshow. You will see a preview of each Slideshow layout.
   
4. On the preview screen, you can choose from different Slideshow layouts by clicking the left and right arrows.
    
5. Chose the desired Slideshow layout by clicking the + icon or the preview thumbnail.
   
6. Decide if you wish to apply the original section style or your own Website Style. Learn more.
   
7. On the slideshow page, click the first default image then select Upload image. You will be prompted to upload an image from your computer.
   
8. Click the right arrow on the slideshow or click the next slideshow progress dot to go to the next default image.
   
9. Click the next default image then select Upload image. You will be prompted to upload an image from your computer.
   
   Note: Follow the same steps to replace all of the default images in the slideshow. Once all of the default images have been replaced, you can add additional images.
10. To add additional images:
    • Click the last slideshow image then select Section Settings.
      
    • Click the Add Slide button. A new default image will appear. Follow the steps above to replace the default image with one of your own.
      
11. Publish when ready.
    

Tip: Slideshows will automatically rescale images to fit within a particular slideshow. It's recommended to select the slideshow which is the most appropriate for your images and resize your images if necessary. This will ensure that they display properly.

Note: If you wish to be able to right-click and save any images, you will need to also host those images elsewhere then add links to where the images are hosted. When you click the images, they will open in a new tab or window and you'll have the option to right-click and save from there. Web Hosting customers who use Website Builder as their home page can upload these images to File Manager then add the links.
