With Website Builder Lite plans you will receive a free turbifysites.com website address. However, you can also connect a domain name to the site. There are three ways to connect a domain name to your Website Builder Lite plan. Please allow up to 30 minutes for the domain connection or disconnection to take effect. Note: Domains that are associated with Business Mail plans are not supported at this time.

 Use a Turbify domain you already own

1. Sign in to your My Services page.

2. Click the Dashboard link
   

3. On the Manage Site page, click the Connect your domain link.
   

4. In the Connect a domain to your website dialog:

   • Click the radio button next to Use a Turbify Domain you own.

   • Select your domain in the pull-down menu. Note: Only domains associated with an existing Domains plan are eligible to connect.

   • Click the Continue button. This action will remove any forwards and A/CNAME records set for this domain.

   

5. A dialog will open to confirm that your domain was successfully connected. Click the Continue button.
   

 Buy a new domain

1. Sign in to your My Services page.

2. Click the Dashboard link.
   

3. On the Manage Site page, click the Connect your domain link.
   

4. In the Connect a domain to your website dialog:

   • Click the radio button next to Buy a new domain.

   • Click the Continue button.

   

5. Enter a domain name in the text field (without the www.), then click the Search button.
   

6. Proceed through the ordering flow for your new domain name.

7. A dialog will open to confirm that your domain was successfully connected. Click the Continue button. Please allow 24-72 hours for the name servers to fully propagate across the internet.
   

 Use a third party domain

1. Sign in to your My Services page.

2. Click the Dashboard link.
   

3. On the Manage Site page, click the Connect your domain link.
   

4. In the Connect a domain to your website dialog:

   • Click the radio button next to Use a third party domain.

   • Click the Continue button.

   

5. The Enter domain name dialog opens. Enter your domain name (without the www.), then click the Continue button.
   

6. Under Follow instructions to connect domain, click the here link and click the Close button when ready.
   

 Disconnect a domain name

1. Sign in to your My Services page.

2. Click the Dashboard link.
   

3. On the Manage Site page, click the Disconnect domain link.
   

4. In the Disconnect domain? dialog, click the Disconnect button.
   

5. In the Domain disconnected dialog, click the Close button.
