Unzip feature in File Manager

Learn how to extract files from compressed folders in File Manager.

Article ID: SLN29303

The File Manager allows you to extract (unzip) compressed folders after you upload them.

Note: Since the total size of the files may not exceed 5MB when using the Upload feature, you may need to upload the compressed files using FTPS.

You can extract files in the following formats:

  • .zip

  • .tar

  • .tgz

  • .gz

Important: The Extract feature currently works in Firefox and Chrome. Safari and other browsers are unsupported at this time.
