Create a Privacy Policy page

  1. Sign in to your WordPress dashboard.
  2. Mouse over Settings then select Privacy.
    The Settings and Privacy links.
  3. WordPress automatically creates a sample Privacy Policy page for you. To make changes to the page, click the Edit link. Learn how to manage WordPress Pages.

  4. To generate a new Privacy Policy page, click the Create button. Note: WordPress will automatically include the standard privacy policy text in the new page. It is important to update the text to reflect your website or business requirements.

  5. Customize the information on the Privacy Policy page.

  6. Click the Save Draft link to save your changes, the Preview link to preview the page, or the Publish button to publish the page.

Note: If you create a new Privacy Policy page, go back to the Privacy Settings page and select the page you want to use by clicking the Use This Page button.
