Whether you're a new customer signing up for a new domain, or an existing customer adding another domain, the process is nearly identical. 

Turbify offers two ways for you to purchase a domains account:

• Sign up for or add a new Domains account using search - use this method if you already know the domain name you want to purchase and to check its availability.

• Sign up for or add a new Domains account using AI - use this method if you would like more guidance on selecting the best domain for your business. The AI tool will provide domain suggestions based on your business description and the keywords you enter.

 Sign up for or add a new Domains account using search

1. Visit the Domains search page.

2. Enter a Domain Name in the field and click Search.

   

3. If the domain you wish to register is available in the domain search, it will be automatically added to your cart. 

   

   • Note: If your domain name is unavailable, another domain name will be suggested. If you choose this domain, click Add to Cart. 

     

4.  Review additional services and products to add to your cart, if available. Note: Upsell/cross-sell items are subject to change and are not available for every product.

   

5. Select an annual, 2, 3, or 5-year Service Term. Note: The Private Domain Registration is added by default. Important: If you're purchasing a .ai domain, the only registration term offered is 2 years.

   

6. Enter a Coupon Code, if available.

   

7. Review your Billing Summary. Note: If applicable, taxes are calculated and displayed on the Order Review page.

   

8. Click Continue.

   

9. Create a login ID that you want associated with the account, then click Create account. You can also Sign in with an existing Turbify account or Sign up with Google. Tip: If your website will be for a business, we suggest using an existing business-specific email address as the login ID and not associating your plan with a personal email address. Important: Your information must be correct (especially the email address) in case we need to contact you about your domain. Please enter an email address you check regularly. Note: If you receive an error code 042 notice, please confirm your information and try again. If you continue to receive the error, please contact Customer Care at 1-833-698-8585 and reference the error code. 

   

10. Add your Billing Information. Important: If applicable, we will use the address you entered to calculate the tax. 

    

11. The Domain registration information is the same as the billing information is checked by default. If it is different, uncheck and change the domain registration information.

    

12. Click Save billing information. Note: We verify addresses for accuracy. You may see a notice that says to use the suggested address.

    

13. Select the Payment Method you want to use (Credit Cards or PayPal). If you have a payment method stored, select it and click Continue. Important: You must save your billing information before moving to payment methods. Note: If you select PayPal, review your order, and submit payment, you will be directed to log in to PayPal to complete the order. Tip: For PayPal, make sure that your PayPal account is attached to a bank account. If a PayPal account has a balance and no bank account is linked to it, it may also have issues with recurring charges.

    

14. Add your Payment Method by entering your Credit Card details. Important: Pre-paid cards and gift cards may not pass the AVS (address verification system) check and may also have issues with recurring charges. Pe-paid cards and gift cards may also have issues with refunds. Please use a standard credit/debit card.

    

15. Click Continue.

    

16. Review the order summary.

    

17. Important: Review the recurring charges shown at the bottom of the page.

    

18. Review the Terms of Service, GDPR Policy, and Privacy Policy, and then click the Checkbox to agree to the terms.

    

19. Click Submit Payment.  

    

That's it! Your new domain(s) will be ready to configure in minutes. Be aware that your domain won't be propagated across the internet for at least 24 to 72 hours.

Use a domain you already own with a Turbify plan

The inbound transfer of an existing domain for use with a Turbify Domains account is not supported. You can use an existing domain when signing up for Business Mail, Web Hosting, or ecommerce plans. Learn more.

Note: When you use your existing domain with a Turbify plan, you are not transferring your domain to Turbify unless you take the steps to do so. Your current provider will continue to renew your domain, and you'll pay any associated fees to that provider. Learn how to transfer your domain to Turbify.

After you've placed your order, you'll need to associate your domain name with your new hosting and email services.
