Set up business email in Outlook for Android

Learn how to access messages in Outlook on your mobile device using IMAP.

Set up your business email in Outlook for Android

  1. Tap the Outlook app.
    Tap the Outlook app.
  2. Tap the GET STARTED button.

  3. Enter your business email address then tap CONTINUE.

  4. On the Yahoo sign in page, tap the Not Yahoo link on the top-right.

  5. Tap Change account provider.
    Choose to Change account provider.
  6. Select IMAP.
    Select IMAP.
  7. Toggle the Use Advanced Settings switch to the right to enable Advanced Settings.

  8. Enter the following:
    • Email Address - Your business email address.
    • Display Name -  The name which will appear on your outgoing messages.
    • Description - This will be the name on your account screen in Outlook.

  9. On the IMAP Incoming and SMTP Outgoing Mail Server section, enter the following: The IMAP Incoming and SMTP Outgoing Mail Server section.
  10. Tap the checkmark on the top-right when finished.
